Yvonne Bickerstaff

Yvonne Justine "Mitzi" Bickerstaff, 84, of Cadiz, Ohio passed with unwavering faith into the presence of her Heavenly Father surrounded by her children and devoted husband on August 15, 2012. She was born February 4, 1928 in Holidays Cove, WV to the late Ferry A. Glover and Connie Glover Willey. Mitzi was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed baking, sewing, and teaching Sunday School for over 30 years. Mitzi is a member of Word of Life Fellowship. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Brooks Glover. Mitzi is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Kenneth Bickerstaff; a sister, Janice King of Falls Church, Va.; a son, John (Phyllis) Bickerstaff of Hopedale; Beverly (Keith) Forsythe of Hopedale; Linda (John) Randolph of Jewett; Elizabeth (John) DeMarco of Toledo; and Rebecca (John) Myers of Mt. Pleasant, Pa; grandchildren: Deborah (Tyrone) Geanangel, Michael Bickerstaff, Rachel Randolph, Daniel Forsythe, Esther Randolph, Katie Forsythe, Leah Randolph and Amy Myers; great grandchildren: Paige and Wade Geanangel and Aidan and Noah Bickerstaff. A special thanks to Charity Hospice and their caring staff in our time of need. Calling hours will be held Friday, August 17 from 6-9 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz where funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Gary Halberg officiating. Burial will follow at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Charity Hospice, 500 Luray Drive, Wintersville, Ohio 43953.
