Winifred Varian

Winifred Jane Varian, 81, Wintersville, Ohio formerly of Hopedale, died Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, Ohio. She was born May 1, 1929 in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Willis Mack and Edna Kerns Sines. She was a member of Plum Street Baptist Church in Steubenville and was a former employee of Scio Pottery. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents; by a son, Rego Louis Darios; 9 brothers and sisters: Wilma Williams, Wanita Loy, Wynona (Noni) Moore, Wilbert, William, Walker, and Walter Sines, Joseph Kuharick, Jr., and Katherine Wells. She is survived by a son, Bill Darios and his wife Bobbi of Hopedale; a daughter, Lorena Popovich of Berlin Center, Ohio; a daughter in law, Mista Mae Darios of Hopedale; grandchildren: Joe (Melissa) Popovich of Berlin Center, Dusty (Kenny) Scavnicky of Alequippa, Pa., Holly (Jeff) McClure of New London, NC., Jill (Adam) Wilson of Cadiz, Leslie (Richie) Heavilin of Cadiz, Willa Mae Dunn of Wintersville, Ray Eddy Dunn of Hopedale, David Dunn of Arizona and Billie Jo Conaway of Cadiz,; and 10 great grandchildren. Calling hours will be Saturday, January 8 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home with Rev. Fr. Timothy McGuire officiating.
