William J. Miner, 82, of Cadiz, died Monday, October 11, 2004 at his home. He was born February 22, 1922 in Trimble, Ohio, a son of the late William G. and Valera M. Somplasky. He was a member of the First Church of Christ of Cadiz, the Harrison County Coonhunters Club, and was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He served in the Civilian Conservation Corps at Yellowstone National Park, and was an owner and operator truck driver for 50 years. He was a member of the Teamsters Union in Wheeling, West Virginia. Surviving are his wife, Anna Bihlman Miner; two daughters, Anna (James) O'Neil and Marilyn (Terrance) Hyde, both of Cadiz; three grandchildren, John O'Neil, William and Dianna Hyde, and serveral cousins.. Friends may call Wedndesday, October 13, 5-8 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz where funeral services will be Thursday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. William Hudson officiating.
