William Kuhn, Sr.

William Eugene Kuhn, Sr., 70, Hopedale, died Friday, May 28, 2010 at Weirton Medical Center. He was born July 27, 1939 in Steubenville, Ohio a son of the late William and Beulah Bryan Kuhn. He was employed by Steuben Coal and attended Springdale Friends Church in Kenwood, Ohio. He was preceded in death in addition to his parents, by an infant daughter Kimberly, one sister and one brother. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Susan Ward Kuhn; 2 sons: William, Jr. and his wife Tracey and Kevin and his wife Teri all of Hopedale; a daughter, Lori Grable and her husband John of Bloomingdale; grandchildren: B.J., Stephanie, Allison, and Cassidy; a great grandson, Jonathan; grandpuppies, Sophie and Bo; sisters: Barb Molinaro of Wintersville, Gloria Bryan of Dresden, Audrey and niece Sandy Weaver of Dayton, Ohio. Calling hours will be held Monday, May 31, 2010 from 3-7 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz where funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Allan Swinderman officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Hopedale, Ohio. In lieu of flower s memorial contributions may be made to Hopedale Baseball Associaton or Hopedale Softball Association, c/o Kevin Kuhn, 49950 Rapp Road, Hopedale, Ohio 43976.
