William "Billy" Dixon

William “Billy” Dean Dixon, 53, of Scio, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 10, 2025 in the Emergency Room at Harrison Community WVU Medicine in Cadiz. He was born July 26, 1971 in Newport, Rhode Island Naval Hospital a son of the late Robert “Curly” and Agnes “Irene” Hidey Dixon.

Billy was a member of the Hopedale American Legion Post #682 Legion Riders and the Son’s of Legion.

Billy is survived by his brother, Woodie (Christine) Dixon of Jewett and his nephews: Robbie Dixon of St. Clairsville and Deem and Emmett Caldwell of Jewett; his longtime companion, Amy Carney of Jewett and her children: Matthew Cromley of Jewett and Tommy Carney of Jewett, Ohio.
