William A. Coventry, 63, Dover, formerly of Scio, died Monday, August 25, 2008 at Union Hospital, Dover, Ohio. He was born May 30, 1945 in Perry Township, Tuscarawas County, Ohio a son of the late Charles and Luella Miller Coventry. He was a 1963 graduate of Lakeland High School; retired equipment operator for GTE; employee of Stock Township Trustees; truck driver for Stover Transportation; bus driver for Harrison Hills School District; and enjoyed racing stock cars at Midvale, Grabits, and Canton Speedways and Wide Oval speedways. He is survived by his wife Marsha Morrow Coventry; a son, Craig Coventry of New Philadephia; a grandson, Tyler Coventry of New Philadelpia; a brother, Robert Coventry of Rittman, Ohio; a sister, Doris Freeman of Tippecanoe and many friends. Calling hours will be held Thursday, August 28, from 11:00 a.m. unitl time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz where friends and family are invited to share memories.
