William "Bill" Blanchard

William “Bill” Blanchard, 73, of Bridgeport, formerly of Cadiz, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Rolling Hills Nursing Home in Bridgeport, Ohio. He was born January 11, 1952 in Flushing, Ohio a son of  the late Etta Jean Williams.

Bill was an employee of the former International Harvester in Shadyside and a U.S. Navy Veteran. 

He was preceded in death by his mother; 2 brothers; Harold Fletcher and Gary Blanchard; sister, Sandra Taylor; and step-brother, Laurence Williams. 

Surviving are his daughter, LaQuetta Blanchard of Bridgeport; 2 step-sons: Donald Mason of Wheeling and John Mason of Port St. Lucie, Florida; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 2 brothers: Allan Blanchard of Bridgeport and Larry Blanchard of Columbus; a sister, Bonnie Patterson of California; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on March 2, 2025 at 3:00p.m. at Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio. Military honors will be provided by the Cadiz American Legion.
