William Charles ''Chuck'' Hanlon, 56, Deersville, died Thursday, June 22, 2006 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. Chuck was born April 18, 1950 a son of John and Phyllis Price Hanlon of Deersville, Ohio. Chuck was a truck driver, a graduate of Lakeland High School, active participant in Deersville Memorial Day Services, a lifelong resident of Deersville, a member of Deersville United Methodist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the VietNam Era. He is survived by his 2 daughters: Cori Hanlon of Deersville and Miranda Hanlon of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; his former wife, Janet Shuss Hanlon of Deersville; 3 grandchildren: Sheena and Brandon of Deersville and Justice of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; 2 sisters: Pam Wallace and her husband Kevin of Deersville and Debbie Hedtke and her husband Frank of Sacremento, California; companion, Patty Myer of the home; Richard Price of Florida and Carolyn Price Cope Bethel of Florida, and serveral nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. Calling hours are Sunday, June 25, 5-9 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz where funeral service will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Richard Rothrock officiating. Burial will follow at Patterson Cemetery, Deersville, Ohio with military graveside honors.
