Wilda M. Henwood, 93, of Cadiz, died Saturday, January 01, 2011 at Gables Care Center, Hopedale. She was born February 28, 1917 in Cherry Valley, Ohio, a daughter of the late Howard Creps and the late Margaret Scott Creps Noah. Mrs. Henwood was a homemaker and a member of the former Grace United Presbyterian Church in Cadiz. She loved her flowers and cooking and baking. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Henwood in 1996; a son, Richard Lewis Henwood; two brothers, Richard and Howard Creps; and three sisters, Jean Retzer, Betty Smith and Jackie Thompson. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. James (Mary Beth) Stauffer of Lima, OH and Mrs. Charles (Frances) Howell of Cadiz; three grandsons, James Bradley Stauffer of New Orleans, LA, Kenneth (Jessica) Howell of Cadiz and Brian (Michelle) Howell of Hilliard; two great grandchildren, Brooklynn and Colin Howell; three sisters, her twin sister Wilma Toth of Burgettstown, PA, and Virginia Creps and Patty Galan, both of Langeloth, PA. Friends may call Monday, 5-8 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Richard Hasley officiating.
