Wayne Ferrell, Jr.

Wayne O. Ferrell, Jr., 68, of Cadiz, died Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling. He was born April 20, 1948, a son of the late Wayne O. Ferrell, Sr. and Doris Barnhart Ferrell. Wayne was an employee of the Harrison County Highway Dept. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam Era. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Rick Ferrell. His wife, Linda Hojnacki Ferrell died on July 22, 2016. Surviving are two sons, Wayne "Jimmy" Ferrell (fiance, Ashley Jett) of Pataskala and Jason Ferrell of Cadiz; a daughter, Hollie Ferrell of Hopewell, OH; four grandchildren: Kasey and Hunter Ferrell, Jeremy McPherson and Andrew Hojnacki. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 27 at 1:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz.Burial will follow at Cadiz Union Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Cadiz American Legion.
