Wallace E. Worrell, 86, Cadiz, died Thursday, August 21, 2008 at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, Ohio He was born April 22, 1922 in Barton, Ohio a son of the late Elzy and Susie Eberhart Worrell. He was a coal miner having started working at Y&O Coal Company and retiring after many years working as a dozer operator at Consolidation Coal Compay, a farmer, co owner/operator of Bessies 250 Restaurant, a member of Roxford Church, UMWA, Cadiz Eagles Aerie #2162, Cadiz American Legion Post #34, Uhrichsville Elks, and the Lafferty Moose. He served his country during World War II with the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Catherine Yoho. He is survived by his wife Bessie Muze Worrell; four children: Lorrie Smith and her husband David of Sebring, Florida, Ronnie Worrell and his wife Brenda of Wilmington, North Carolina, Lana Rensi and her husband Jerry of Columbus, and Eddie Fannin and his wife Toni of St. Clairsville; ten grandchildren: Tanner and Lana Smith; Robbie, Tim, and Steve Worrell; Todd, Brian, and Geoff Rensi; Staci Trudo; and Lewis Fannin; three great grandchildren; two brothers: Adrian Worrell of Cadiz and Charles Worrell of Akron; four sisters: Virginia Torre of Dayton, Irma Fisher of New York, Nancy Stone of Illinois, and Donna Gaede of Chapel Hill, Virginia. Calling hours will be held Friday, August 29, 2-4 and 7-9 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz where funeral service will be held Saturday at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Henry Mooney officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Tappan Lake with full military honors provided by Cadiz American Legion. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 525 N.
