W. Hixson

W. Edmond Hixson, 86, Cadiz, died Wednesday, Janury 17, 2007 at Carriage Inn of Cadiz. He was born June 10, 1920 in Darragh, Pennsylvania a son of the late William Z. and Twyla Albright Hixson. He was a member of Scott United Methodist Church in Cadiz and was a retired coal miner. He was preceded in death in addition to his parents, by his wife Marie H. Maughan Hixson in 2003. He is survived by his son William Hixson and his wife Carolyn of Dover, Ohio; 2 daughters: Barbara Cramblett of Lake Worth, Florida and Debbie Bartimus of New Rumley, Ohio; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a brother, Wayne Hixson of Darragh, Pa; 3 sisters: Virginia Capo of New Brighton, Pa, Marie Lawson of Madison, Pa., and Willa Mae Hill of Fayetteville, Tennesee. Calling hours will be Friday, January 19, 2-4 and 7-9 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz where funeral service will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Richard Hasley officiating.
