Vivian ''Dee'' Mingus, 72, Cadiz, formerly of Hopedale, died Tuesday, February 18, 2003 at Trinity Medical Center, West, Steubenville, Ohio. She was born January 18, 1931 in Nelsonville, Ohio a daughter of the late Harley and Goldie Spellman Robinette. She was a retired cook from Lou's Famous Fish, Hopedale after 20 years. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents, by her husband, Wendell Mingus in 1980; 2 brothers: Jack and June; and 2 sisters: Dorothy and Peggy. Surviving are a son Gary Mingus of Piedmont; 3 granddaughters: Tiffaney Marbais and husband Lonnie of Piedmont, Toni Mingus of Cadiz, and Tanya Dutton and husband Corey of Tucson, Arizona; a great grandson, Zachary Marbais; 2 brothers: Danny Robinette of Lancaster, Ohio and Bob Robinette of Athens, Ohio; 2 sisters: Bonnie Karsey, Chancey, Ohio and Mary McKnight of Nelsonville, Ohio. Calling hours are Thursday, February 20 from 2-4 and 7-9 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz where services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Ernest Creamer officiating. Private burial at the convenience of the family.
