Vivian Hepner

Vivian Dodds Hepner, 84, of Cadiz, died Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at Union Hospital, Dover, Ohio. She was born October 21, 1922 in Nottingham Township, Harrison County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Charles and Sadie Clemens Compher. She was a lifelong resident of Harrison County, a member of the Presbyterian Church of Cadiz, was the Manager of the former Niekirk's Five and Ten Cent Store in Cadiz and a member of the former Royal Women's Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hepner; two sons, Ronald and Irvin Dodds; a brother, Merritt Compher; two sisters, Alice Lewis and Helen Pickett; and a stepson. Surviving are three sons, Gary and his wife, Ann Dodds of Cadiz, Harry and his wife, Susan Dodds of Vancouver, WA, and John and his wife, Diana Dodds of Strasburg, Ohio; a stepson Tom Hepner; five grandchildren and three special great granddaughters, and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call Monday, January 22, from 11:00 a.m until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, 172 S. Main St., Cadiz, Ohio. Rev. Dr. David Rice will officiate.
