Valeria Kurucz

Valeria Kurucz, 89, New Athens, Ohio died Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz, Ohio. She was born March 1, 1919 in Maynard, Ohio a daughter of the late Steve and Marie Mikulic Hrica. She was a member of the Cadiz Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, a homemaker, and enjoyed making quilts and giving them to her grandchildren. She was preceded in death in addtion to her parents; by her husband, John Kurucz in 1992; a daughter Candace Bintz; a brother Steve Hrica; and a sister Stelle Pempek. Surving are a son, John L. Kurucz and his wife Mary of New Athens; 2 daughters: Yvonne Dunlap and her husband Harold of Cadiz and Illene Toto and her husband Stanley of Painesville, Ohio; 8 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. Calling hours will be held Friday, April 11, from 2-4 and 7-9 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m..
