Thelma Mikesell

Thelma E. "Sis" Mikesell, 86, of Cadiz, died Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Gables Care Center, Hopedale. She was born December 15, 1924 in Shortcreek, Ohio, a daughter of the late Hartzelle and Estella Gummere Reppart. Sis was a member of Scott United Methodist Church and for many years was a Switchboard Operator for GTE in Cadiz. She was a member of the Cadiz Eagles Auxiliary, the Harrison Community Hospital Auxiliary and volunteered at the Clark Gable Foundation Museum and Harrison Community Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth, Merwin and William Reppart. Surviving are two daughters, Sandra (Richard) Cunningham of Las Vegas and Kay (Butch) Rodich of Cadiz; four grandchildren: Michael (Leslie) Rodich, Julie (Rob) Peters, Craig and Christopher Cunningham; and five great grandchildren. Friends may call Friday, December 2, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz. Rev. Richard Hasley will officiate. Private interment will be at the convenience of the family at Olive Branch Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Harrison Community Hospital Auxiliary, 951 E.
