Terry Jeffries

Terry Gilbert Jeffries, 55, of Cadiz, died Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz. He was born March 7, 1956 in Steubenville, Ohio, a son of Irene Buckbee Jeffries Sole of Martins Ferry and the late Gilbert Jeffries. Terry was a member of Harrison Hills United Pentecostal Church in Jewett. He was a Machinist for various manufacturing companies, including Strauss in Wheeling. He was also a former employee of Rogers Western Auto in Cadiz. He loved hunting, fishing and carpentry, and built his own home. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Linda Kannan Jeffries; two sons, Dustin Jeffries of Bellaire and Larry Coffman (Lois) of Las Vegas; three daughters, Melissa Porter (Buck) of Wheeling, Crystal Roberts (Kenny Porter) of Pittsburgh and Tiffaney Mason (Joseph) of Middletown, OH; eight grandchildren; a sister, Sandy Harris (Randy) of Wintersville; and a nephew, Shane Harris (Angie) and daughter, Nicolette of Cadiz. A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the Harrison Hills United Pentecostal Church, Jewett, Ohio with Rev. Kirt Denney officiating.
