Stanley Rotkoski, 85, Cadiz, died Wednesday, May 7, at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz. He was born May 27, 1917 in Adena, Ohio a son of the late John and Anna Runevitch Rotkoski. He was a retired custodian from the former Wayne Elementary School in Bloomingdale, previously attended the First Church of God in Cadiz and was a World War II United States Army veteran. He was preceded in death in addition to his parents; by his wife, Ruby Ellen Coleman Rotkoski; a son William Rotkoski; a brother Frank Rutkowski; and 5 sisters: Julie Angel, Stella Hilligas, Mary Sliva, Helen Hilligas, and Vickie Robinson. He is survived by 2 sons: Richard S. Rotkoski of New Philadelphia and John Rotkoski of Cadiz and their wives Mildred Ann and Rose Ann; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 4 stepbrothers: Tom Putkoski of Cleveland, Jim Putkoski and Ray Putkoski both of Adena and Ed Putkoski of St. Clairsville, Ohio; 3 half sisters: Delsie Evonich and Betty Wyatt both of Oregon; and Tillie Hadam of North Royalton, Ohio; and many friends. Calling hours are Thursday, May 8, from 5-7 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where services will be held on Friday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. William Hudson officiating.
