Stanley Nameth, 63, of Unionvale Rd., Cadiz, died Saturday at his home. He was born March 6, 1939 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a son of the late George A. and Stella Kovalski Nameth. He was a member of St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Cadiz; the Hopedale Sportsman's Club; and the Cadiz American Legion, Post 34. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Bill Gavorcik. Surviving are his wife, Sandra Cunningham Nameth; 3 sons, Steven and his wife, Kim, of Mentor, Ohio, Matthew and his wife, Julie of Midvale, Ohio, and David and his wife, Dana of Cadiz; 2 daughters, Vicki and her husband, Jerry Sefsick of Cadiz, and Stacie and her husband, Walt Virtue of Adena; 10 grandchildren; and 2 brothers, Frank Nameth of Warren, OH and Joe Nameth of Kirtland, OH. Friends may call Monday from 3-9 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home. Funeral Litergy with Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, May 21, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Teresa's Catholic Church, Cadiz by Rev. Fr. Thomas Vennitti and Monsignor John Kolesar. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Hopedale. Vigil Services will be held Monday at 8:30 in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Teresa's Catholic Church; the American Cancer Society; or Valley Hospice.
