Ruby Jimison

Ruby D. Jimison, 85, of Cadiz, Ohio, died Saturday, January 20, 2007 at Harrison Community Hosptial, Cadiz. She was born May 25, 1921 in West Union, WV, a daughter of the late Moses D. and Pearl Mason Smith. She was a member of Scott United Methodist Church in Cadiz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph G. Jimison in 2005; a daughter-in-law, Kathie Jimison; and a brother, Thomas Clyde Smith. Surviving are two sons, Don Jimison of Sugarcreek, Ohio and David Jimison and his wife, Cynthia of Athens; a daughter, Sandra Hollingsworth and her husband, Kenneth of Orange Park, FL; seven grandchildren; two foster grandchildren; five great grandchildren; five foster great grandchildren; and a brother, Marshall Smith and his wife, Janet, of Cadiz. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home Cadiz, where funeral services will be held Thursday, January 25, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Richard Hasley officiating. The service will be in conjunction with a memorial service for Joseph Jimison. Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
