Roy W. "Bill" Manbeck, 76, Cadiz, died suddenly Friday, April 2, 2010 at Trinity Medical Center, West, Steubenville, Ohio. Bill was born November 21, 1933 in New Rumley, Ohio a son of the late Roy Manbeck and Nora Mattern Manbeck DeWalt. Bill was a member of the Jewett United Methodist Church; a retired employee of Alliance Steel Products; currently worked for Bessie Worrell at the farm; was a member of the King Coal CB Club; and enjoyed riding and working with his horse Daisy. Bill was preceded in death in addition to his parents, by two brothers: Dean and Kenneth Manbeck. Bill is survived by his wife of 34 years, Mary Ann Hunt Manbeck; his children: Corey (Debbie) Manbeck of Wooster, Jeff (Sandi) Manbeck of Germano, Keith (Terrie) Manbeck of North Carolina, Clara (Kevin) Barker of Scio, and Brad (Lisa) Manbeck of Elyria, Ohio; 3 stepchildren: Tracey Kuhn of Hopedale, Tom Griffith of North Carolina and Charles Griffith of Ohio; 5 granddaughters and a grandson; 7 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Monday, April 5 from 11:00 until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz with Rev. Hester Hudson officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Church Cemetery, Tappan Lake, Ohio. The memorial guestbook may be signed at www.clark-kirkland.com.
