Roy Lee Haught, 87, of Cadiz, Ohio, formerly of Bloomingdale, Ohio, died Monday, July 9, 2018 at his home. He was born September 25, 1930 in Beverly, West Virginia, a son of the late Henry and Laura Swiger Haught. Mr. Haught was a Crane Man for Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel in Mingo Jct., Ohio and was a member of the Ywhw Apostolic Church in Smithfield, Ohio and the United Steel Workers of America. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Linda J. Rhodes Haught; a son Fred McCarthy; and three daughters, Bonnie Walker,Mary Jo Octabetz, and Angie Haught; and eleven brothers and sisters. Surviving are six daughters, Judy Tyras of Dayton, Ohio, Darlene Sue Miles (Cannon) of Wheeling, Christina Poch (Pete Coffman) of Bloomingdale, Shawna Haught (Ralph Hamilton) of Cadiz, Rebecca Miller (Chad) of Cadiz and Pamela Haught (Jason Dowdell) of Wintersville; twenty four grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and a sister, Erma Gorski (Tony) of Oregon. A graveside memorial service will be held on a date to be announced at Mt Zion Cemetery in Ripley, West Virginia.
