Ross Young

Ross Gene Young, 73, of Cadiz, Ohio, formerly of Short Creek, West Virginia, died Monday, January 29, 2007 at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz. He was born May 10, 1933 in Short Creek, a son of the late Ross John and Violet White Young. He was a retired Steel Worker from the 45'' Blooming Mill, Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Co. in Steubenville, and was a member of the Windsor Heights Church of God and the USW. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kim Gene Young and by an infant sister. Surviving are two daughters, Belinda Smith and her husband, Jeffrey of Wheeling and Denise Ridgeway and her husband, Eric of Thurmont, MD; a brother, Thomas Young and his wife, Janet of St. Clairsville; a sister, Marlene Sims of Yorkville; two grandsons; two granddaughters; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007 from 10 until 12 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, 172 S. Main St., Cadiz, Ohio.
