Rose Schrader

Rose Schrader, 98, Cadiz, died Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz, Ohio. She was born October 26, 1911 in Kenwood, Ohio a daughter of the late Steve and Rose Valdinger Hauber. Rose was a member of the First Church of God in Cadiz. She enjoyed being a homemaker, crafts, sewing, knitting, ceramics, cooking, and baking. Among her favorite activities were the out-of-doors, gardening, flowers, and boating. She was a loving grandmother to 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Rose was preceded in death in addition to her parents, by her husband Coy Schrader in 1983, 5 brothers and 3 sisters. Mrs. Schrader is survived by 2 sons: Donald Schrader and his wife Irene of Anderson, Indiana and Gordon Schrader of Cadiz; and a daughter, Janet Linamen and her husband Harold of Anderson, Indiana. Calling hours will be held Sunday, January 31 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio and Monday, February 1, from 9:00 until time of service at 10:00 a.m. at the First Church of God, 227 West Warren Street, Cadiz, with Rev. Craig Haney officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Hopedale, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to First Church of God, 227 West Warren Street, Cadiz, Ohio.
