Roger Cunningham

Roger L. Cunningham, 64, of Myrtle Beach,SC, formerly of Cadiz, died Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Georgetown Memorial Hospital, Georgetown, SC. He was born March 19, 1948 in Unionvale, OH, a son of the late James R. (Fin) and Erma L. Kelley Cunningham. Roger was a retired Diesel Mechanic, was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed playing golf. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Melissa Lynn and Theresa Lynn Cunningham and a brother, Harlan Cunningham. Surviving are his wife, Dianna Thompson Cunningham; a son, James (Caryn) Cunningham of Myrtle Beach, a daughter, Marsha (Richard) Coleman of Charleston, SC; three grandchildren, Tyler Eaddy, Austin Coleman and Breanna Cunningham; a brother, F. Dwight (Shirley) Cunningham of Cadiz; and three sisters, Charlotte (Frank) Mostia of Adena, Sandy Nameth of Unionvale, and Bonnie (Edwin) Richards of Murrells Inlet, SC. Friends may call at the Harrison Hills United Pentecostal Church, 87800 Cadiz-Jewett Rd., Jewett, OH on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. where services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. James Stark and Rev. Kirt Denney officiating. Burial will follow at Cadiz Union Cemetery. Local arrangements are by Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz.
