Robert Sikon

Robert Sikon, 81, of Piney Fork, died Monday, September 5, 2005 at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz. He was born March 31, 1924 in Steubenville, Ohio, a son of the late John and Anna Hazel Hines Sikon. He was a member of Harrison Hills United Pentecostal Church, Jewett, and was a retired employee of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources at Fernwood State Forest. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David; two brothers, Johnny and Tommy; and a sister, Dolores. Surviving are his wife, Margaret Smith Sikon; three sons, Robert of Jewett, Tracy of Adena, and Travis of Carrollton; three daughters, Jessie Barcus of Smithfield, Anna Clark of Derby, CT, and Joan Balasz of Carrollton; fourteen grandchildren; a number of great grandchildren; two brothers, Jimmy and Jerry and two sisters, Joan and Jenny. Friends may call Thursday, September 8 from 11: 00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m. at Harrison Hills United Pentecostal Church, 87800 Cadiz-Jewett Rd., Jewett, Ohio. Rev. J. Hugh Rose will officiate. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz.
