Rickey Barcus

Rickey Barcus, 53, Cadiz, died Monday, August 4, 2008 at Trinity Medical Center, Steubenville, Ohio following a short period of illness in the care of Charity Hospice. Rick was born December 4, 1954 to Shirley Barcus Kellaway and the late Arthur Barcus. Rick was a custodian for the Harrison Hills School District and was an avid fisherman. Rick was preceded in death in addition to his parents; by his stepfather, Vernon Kellaway, and by a sister Dianna Kellaway. Rick is survived by two nieces: Melissa Risdon of Jewett and Tonya (DeWayne) Mitchell of Cadiz; two step children: Eric Dombroski and Shannon (Steve) Barnhart of Cadiz; two grandchildren: Blake and Landon Barnhart; one great niece and several great nephews: Nick and Alysia Risdon of Jewett, and Rashaen, Kalub, Brandon, and Kobe Mitchell all of Cadiz. In keeping with his wishes his body will be cremated and a memorial service will be held Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio with Rev. R.J. Leek.
