Richard Johnson

Richard A. Johnson, 65, Holloway, Ohio died Wednesday, April 2 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, Ohio. He was born September 8, 1937 in Holloway a son of the late Uster Johnson and Alice Simpson Johnson. He was a retired employee of R&F Coal Company and a member of the Cadiz Congregation of Jehovahs Witnesses. He was preceded in death in addition to his parents by an infant brother, Randall Johnson. He is survived by his wife Charlene Shockley Johnson; 2 sons: Richard A., II of Cadiz and Christopher of Holloway; 2 daughters: Rhonda Cunningham of Morristown and Roxanne Hooper of Columbus; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; 3 sisters: Nancy Sheppard of Holloway, Joann Osborne of Kentucky, and Sherri Kramer of Deersville, Ohio. Calling hours are Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where services will be held on Monday, April 7, at 11:00 a.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz. Burial follows at Moorefield Cemetery, Moorefield, Ohio.
