Richard W. ''Dick'' Barnhart, 62, Cadiz, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2006 at Trinity West, Steubenville, Ohio. Dick was born September 23, 1943 in Wheeling, West Virginia a son of the late Amos and Anna Bailey Barnhart. Dick was a self employed contractor; an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member Cadiz FOE, Aerie #2162 and Cadiz American Legion, Post 34. Dick was preceded in death in addition to his parents by a brother William L. Barnhart; and 2 sisters: Doris Ferrell and Mabel Richards. Dick is survived by his wife Bonnie Straub Barnhart; 2 sons: Scott Barnhart and his wife Tina of Newark and Sam Barnhart and his wife Candy of Calhoun, Georgia; 4 daughters: Rickie Barnhart of Bloomingdale, Susan Stanley and her husband Earl of Calhoun, Georgia, Lynn Spano and husband Chad of Hopedale, and Missy Bingiel and her husband Michael of Calhoun, Georgia; 15 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; 3 brothers: Ronald Barnhart and his wife Sandy of Cadiz, Raymond (Ted) Barnhart and his wife Pauline of Zanesville, and Ralph Barnhart and his wife Mardi of Cadiz, Ohio. Calling hours Tuesday, September 19, 2-4 and 7-9 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz where funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Rodney Bowers officiating.
