Richard "Uncle Dude" Adams, 72, Vienna, Ohio formerly of Harrison County, died Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at his home in Vienna, Ohio. He was born February 3, 1938 in Painesville, Ohio a son of the late Denver F. and Lydia M. Nation Adams, Sr. Richard was retired from Bell Atlantic and was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers: George M. and John A. Adams. Surviving are a sister, Arleen V. Thompson of Cadiz; a brother, Denver F. Adams, Jr. of Cadiz; a son, Robert J. Adams of Manassas, Virginia; 2 grandchildren: Joseph F. and Kelsey A. Adams both of Manassas Park, Virginia; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Saturday, March 6, 4-7 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz where funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Thurston officiating.
