Priscilla DeCorte Palumbo, 96, of Cadiz, died Sunday, April 6, 2008 at Harrison Community Hospital. She was born December 13, 1911 in Westmoreland County, PA, a daughter of the late John and Lucy DeFlorin DeCorte. She was a Catholic by faith and was a retired employee of Coutrap's Restaurant and a retired clerk at the DeCorte Coal Co. She was an avid baker and cook and loved to crochet. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Frank Palumbo in 1982; three brothers, John, Joseph and Louis DeCorte; and two sisters, Mary Campise and Anna Zullo. Surviving are two daughters, Ellen and her husband Ernest (Ed) Yoho and Forinne and her husband Kenneth Mallernee, all of Cadiz; five grandchildren, Mark, Michael and Jeffrey Yoho, Kim Clark and Kenneth A. Mallernee; eight great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday, 5-8 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where funeral services will be held Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Richard Hasley officiating.
