Preston Scott Nation, 38 of Barnesville, formerly of Cadiz, died Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born September 15, 1968 in Steubenville, Ohio a son of and Joyce Thompson Nation Wierzbicki and her husband Ted of Flushing, Ohio and the late Ansil Odell Nation. He was an Habilitation Specialist for Voca Corporation in St. Clairsville and a member of the First Church of Christ in Cadiz. He was preceded in death, in addition to his father, by his grandparents: Jesse and Virginia Thompson and Everett and Lena Nation; and his brother-in-law Vance McKeen. He is survived, in addition to his mother and stepfather, by his friend Allen Carpenter of Barnesville; a brother, Randy Nation and his wife, Katrina of Douglasville, Georgia; 3 sisters: Sharon Georgi of Rialta, California, Teresa Jenkins and her husband, Bud of Patalaska, and Shawn McKeen of Belmont; his grandmother, Antonio Wierzbicki of Bridgeport; and 2 step brothers: Ted Wierzbicki and his wife, Malinda of Powell and Mike Wierzbicki and his wife, Theresa of Ashburn, Virginia. Calling hours are Friday, 6-8 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz where funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with Paul Giffin officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
