Phyllis Bickerstaff

Phyliss Mae Hughes Bickerstaff, 78, of Hopedale, passed away suddenly, with her family at her side on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at UPMC in Pittsburgh, PA. She was born on February 11, 1944 in Keosauqua, Iowa to her parents Robert and Dora Marie Whitconack  Hughes.

Phyllis was a Nurses’ Aid and home health care giver for over 40 years. She loved all who she cared for dearly and became part of their families. She was an amazing mother and grandmother. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh and have fun. She enjoyed baking and spending time with family and friends.

She will be sadly missed by her husband of 60 years Kenny, daughter Debbie (Ty) Geanangel and son, David Bickerstaff of Hopedale and grandchildren, Paige, Wade, Aidan & Noah.

Friends may call on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until time of her funeral service at 6:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, Cadiz, with Dean Blythe officiating. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
