Phillip L. VanCamp, 69, of Cadiz, died Friday, June 20, 2008 at the Carriage Inn of Cadiz. He was born September 6, 1938 in Ravenna, Ohio a son of the late Clifford and Amelia Black VanCamp. Phill was a member of Scott United Methodist Church in Cadiz, a retired electrician with Bryan Electric in St. Clairsville, Ohio, a member of Cadiz American Legion Post #34, Cadiz F.O.E. Aerie #2162, Flushing Masonic Lodge, and Summer Fun Horseshoe League. He was a Navy veteran in the submarine corps during the Korean Conflict. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Lynne Renee VanCamp and a grandson, Dustin VanCamp; and two brothers: Paul and Harold Dunfee. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Barbara Ornouski VanCamp; four sons, Kirk (Kim) VanCamp of Steubenville, Lance VanCamp and Eric (Cassie) VanCamp and Jerry (Brandy) Debolt, all of Cadiz; a daughter, Tracey Allen of Evansville, Indiana; 10 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; two brothers, Gary of Port St. Lucie, Florida and Eugene Dunfee of Mt. Lebanon, Pennyslvania; two step brothers: Kevin of Cadiz and James of Pennsylvania; a sister, Karen Maheu of Stuart, Virginia; and his stepmother, Beulah VanCamp of Jewett, Ohio. Friends may call Sunday, 5-9 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Steve Powell officiating. Burial will follow at Cadiz Union Cemetery.
