Pauline Arbaugh, 89, of Jewett, died Tuesday, January 31, 2006 at Trinity Medical Center, West in Steubenville. She was born August 20, 1916 in Port Homer, Ohio, a daughter of the late Samuel and Annie Knox Mercer. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Jewett and the Jewett Grange. She was a retired employee of the Scio Pottery Co. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dean S. Arbaugh; a brother Charles A. Mercer; 2 sisters, Georgia Ewing and Hilda Pickering; and a granddaughter, Stephanie Glaser. Surviving are three daughters. Deanna Glaser (Gary) of Magnolia, and Sharon Jones (Randy) and Marsha Coulson (John), all of Cadiz; five grandchildren; and one great granddaughter. Friends may call Friday, 6-9 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where funeral services will be heldSaturday, Feb. 4, 2005 at 1:00 p.m.with Pastor Victor Myers officiating.
