Paula (Mehok) Putnam

Paula (Mehok) Putnam passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at Gables Care Cener in Hopedale following a rapid decline in health. She was 64 years old.

Paula had several jobs including the Army Corp of Engineers at Dover Dam, a nurse aide for many years and many years at the Handy and Harmon. She enjoyed gardening and her many cats.

She was preceded in death by father, Paul Mehok, her mother and step-father, Rev. Norman and Mary (Mehok) Stover, her sister and brother-in-law, William and Sharon Freed and her first husband, Sandford Hardesty.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Amy Goudy and Mike Hauber of Cadiz; nieces and nephews, Andrew Freed of Minneapolis, MN, Evan (Gamika) Hughes of Uhrichsville, Brianna (Devin) Watson of Cadiz, Harmony Hauber (Derrik Shultz) of Hopedale, Eliza Goudy (Clayton Thompson) of New Philadelphia, Maggie Goudy (Bryce Wade) of Cadiz, Grace Goudy (Issac Chandler) of Rayland and Ramona Chaney and Grace Baker of Stow; great nieces and nephews, Lilly Freed of Beachwood, Leah and Aya Hughes of Uhrichsville, Clayton M. Thompson of New Philadelphia and Dell Watson of Cadiz, Ohio.

In keeping with her Paula’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or service. Cremation has taken place. The family being assisted by Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio.
