Paul E. Tenley, 91, of Cadiz, was called to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at home. He was born March 10, 1932, in Sardis, Ohio, a son of the late William and Josie Pearl (Bolen) Tenley.
Paul, along with his late wife Pam, were co-owners and founders of the former Eagles Nest Restaurant near Deersville, Ohio. Paul was also an electrician working out of IBEW 246, farmer, outdoorsman, and a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death in addition to his parents; by his first wife, Jeanette (Vannoy) Tenley; and his second wife, Pamela Sue (Harris) Tenley; brothers, Earl Tenley, Roger Tenley, and sister, Belva (Kennedy) Jones.
Paul is survived by his 2 sons: David (Diane) Tenley of Wadsworth, Ohio and Greg (Lori) Tenley of Jewett, Ohio; brother Donald Kennedy of Barnesville, Ohio; sister, Mary (Kennedy) Carpenter of Supply, North Carolina; sister-in-law, Tambra Harris of Cadiz, Ohio; four grandsons; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will take place Thursday, December 7th, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Patterson Union Cemetery, County Highway 21, Deersville, Ohio 44693 with Rev. Pete Tuchek officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to SouthernCare Hospice, 100 Welday St Suite G, Wintersville, OH 43953.
