Paul Monzula

Paul Monzula, 85, of Cadiz, died Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at the Carriage Inn of Cadiz. He was born February 6, 1922 in Triadelphia, WV, a son of the late John and Helen Lukacena Monzula. He was a retired farmer, was an Army Veteran of WW II, and was a member of the Cadiz Aerie 2162, Fraternal Order of Eagles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Monzula and two sisters, Mary Sawko and Pauline Culverhouse. Surviving are a brother, George and his wife, Marilyn Monzula of Cadiz; two sisters, Helen Thompson of Cadiz and Elizabeth Sawchek of Troy, OH; and several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, October 18, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Cadiz by Rev. Fr. Thomas Vennitti. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery near Hopedale. Military Honors will be performed by the Cadiz American Legion. Online condolences may be made at www.clark-kirkland.com
