Paul Monzula, 85, of Cadiz, died Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at the Carriage Inn of Cadiz. He was born February 6, 1922 in Triadelphia, WV, a son of the late John and Helen Lukacena Monzula. He was a retired farmer, was an Army Veteran of WW II, and was a member of the Cadiz Aerie 2162, Fraternal Order of Eagles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Monzula and two sisters, Mary Sawko and Pauline Culverhouse. Surviving are a brother, George and his wife, Marilyn Monzula of Cadiz; two sisters, Helen Thompson of Cadiz and Elizabeth Sawchek of Troy, OH; and several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, October 18, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Cadiz by Rev. Fr. Thomas Vennitti.
