Patricia "Patty" K. Bobot

Patricia K. Bobot, 74, of Cadiz, Ohio passed away on June 10, 2024, at the Shadyside Care Center surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on November 14, 1949, in Wheeling, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Newell and Naomi Trotter. 

Patricia worked at Twin City Hospital for many years in the billing department. She could often be found dancing and enjoying her time at Black Sheep Winery with her Black Sheep friends and family. She loved animals, especially her dog Mayli. Most of all, she loved being a mother and grandmother—spending time with her daughter, Elka and grandson, Hunter as often as she could. 

She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband, Allen J. Bobot in 2015; in-laws, Andrew and Carolyn Bobot. 

She is survived by her daughter, Elka (Scott) Van Curen of Harrisville; grandson, Hunter Van Curen (Sisi Gautschi) of Harrisville; sister, Saundra (Richard) Hendershot of Westminter, Colorado; brother, Timothy B. (Patricia) Trotter of Cave Creek, Arizona; and sister-in-law Anita (Harry) of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania; nieces and nephews, Alison (Jamie) Binion, Benjamin (Amy) Hendershot, Brenton (HeeYoung) Trotter, Andrew (Lauren) Trotter, Chelsea (William) Penttila; and many great nieces and nephews. 

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13 from 4-7 at Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home in Cadiz, Ohio. The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 14 at 11:00 a.m. at Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral home with Rev. Fr. Thomas Chillog officiating. Burial will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery in Harrisville, Ohio. 

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Harrison County Cancer Crusaders, c/o Julie McPeak, 226 Charleston Street, Cadiz, Ohio 43907.
