Opal D. Hall, 80, of Cadiz, died Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz. She was born March 4, 1925 in Short Creek, Brooke Co., WV, a daughter of the late Charles Homer and Lillian Allen Knox. She was a retired employee of the Harrison County Home. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl Dean Knox, Dana Knox, and James Hubert Knox; sister, Helen Porter; and a grandchild. Surviving are 3 sons: Howard Jay Heavelyn and his wife Anne of New Philadelphia, Dennis Wayne Heavelyn and Keith A. (Mike) Hall and his wife Linda both of Cadiz; a daughter: Joan Darlene Heavelyn Sladewski and her husband Ron of Cadiz; 7 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. Friends may call Saturday, August 20 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home. Rev. Paul Hamilton will officiate.
