Oma Porter

Oma K. Porter, 95, of Hopedale, formerly of Navarre and Canton, died Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Gables Care Center in Hopedale. She was the daughter of hte late Noah and Lillie Polen Cline. Mrs. Porter was a retired secretary from Ford Motor Company, Ventron Co. and Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. She owned her own ceramics business. She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church of Canton, Coterie Club, the Ford Retirees and the Garden Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three husbands, John Kragel, Paul Porter and Wayne Cameron; a son, John P. Kragel; and a sister-in-law, Carolyn Cline. Surviving are two brothers, Morris (Harriet) Cline of East Springfield and Myron "Red" Cline of Amsterdam; seven nieces and nephews: Stephanie (John) Sikora of Ashland, Cindy (John) Harrah of Cadiz, Scott (Sharon) Cline of Franklin, IN, Kathy (Bruce) Clark of Cadiz, Valerie (Uli) Hindrichs of Germany, Mark Cline of Tallmadge, and Heidi Garnek of North Canton; ten grand nieces and grand nephews: Michael (Neiva), Andrew (Alicia), Allison (Eric), Stephen, Melissa, Noah, Alexis, Kevin, Adam, and Matthew; nine great grand nieces, Kayla, Sydney, Colton, Addison, Kairi, Eden, Maryanne, Scarlett, and Aliyah. A memorial service will be held Monday, June 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Sunset Hills Burial Park in Canton, Ohio. Local arrangements are by Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz.
