Nan M. Finnical, 90, of Cadiz, Ohio, died Thursday, December 13, 2001 at Harrison Community Hosptial, Cadiz. She was born November 27, 2001 in Bedford, Virginia, a daughter of the late George Edward and Cline Dennis MacGillivray. She was a member of the Scott United Methodist Church in Cadiz, and a former member of the Ladies' Rifle Team; Ladies' Golf Association and the Harrison Chapter 353, Order of the Eastern Star. She received the Pro's Trophy at the Cadiz Country Club, presented by George Chapple in 1953. She was a seventy year member of the Moravian Trail Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a Pharmacist and former owner of Finnical's Pharmacy in Cadiz. She graduated from the Ohio Northern University, College of Pharmacy in 1960. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George M. Finnical in 1983. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Nancy) Beckert of Cadiz; a brother, George (Bud) MacGillivray of North Lima, Ohio; 2 sisters, Helen Bargar of Dennison, Ohio and Lucille Gillespie of Cadiz, Ohio; a grandson, Richard D. Beckert of Lake Stevens, Washington; a granddaughter, Deborah A. McDonough of Celina, Ohio; and 3 great grandchildren. Friends may call Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio, where funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Robert Hooker and Rev. William Hudson officiating. Burial will follow at Cadiz Union Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Scott United Methodist Church, 817 East Market St., Cadiz, Ohio 43907. A DAR Service will be held Sunday at 6:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
