Muriel Smith

Muriel M. Smith, 81, of Wooster, Ohio, formerly of Cadiz, Ohio, died Tuesday, August 7, 2001 in Wooster Hospital. She was born June 22, 1920 in Adena, Ohio, a daughter of the late Edward L. and Ida B. Noble McMannis. She was a member of the Hands of Grace United Pentecostal Church Wooster, where she served with her husband as a Bishop. She was a former member of the Harrison Hills United Penetcostal Church at Jewett, Ohio. She was a retired Nurse from Martins Ferry Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Francis Kittle, Sara Satterfield and Helen McMannis. Surviving are her husband, Clinton R. Smith; 1 son, Robert Smith (Jeri), St. Clairsville, OH; 1 daughter, Vivian Pickering (Thomas), Evansville, IN; 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Dorothy Bowman (Russ), Akron, OH. Friends may call Thursday, Aug. 9 from 5-7 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio. Funreal Services will be held Friday, August 10, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. at Harrison Hills United Pentecostal Church 87800 Cadiz-Jewett Rd., Jewett, Ohio with Rev. J. Hugh Rose officiating. Burial will follow at Cadiz Union Cemetery.
