Molly Midcap, 88, of Hopedale, formerly of Follansbee, WV, died Friday, October 29, 2010 at Gables Care Center. She was born August 6, 1922 in Tyler County, WV., a daughter of the late Theodore and Idona Kimble Cooper. Mrs. Midcap was a homemaker and a member of the Weirton Heights Church of Christ. In death in addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harold Midcap; seven brothers, Leonard, Virgil, Harley, Ray, Earl Lester and Herbert Cooper; and five sisters, Blanche, Della, Halley, Alley, and Grace Agnes. She is survived by two daughters, Patty Gribben and her husband Dave and Mary Midcap, all of Hopedale; a son, Harold Midcap, Jr. of Wellsville, OH; a brother, Joe Cooper of Paden City; a sister, Mary Warman of Follansbee, WV; four grandchildren: Valerie Gribben Efaw, David Gribben, Harold Midcap, III and Michele Midcap Beyerbach; eleven great grandchildren: Kathryn, Michael, Samantha, Constance, Trevor, Tyler, Taylor, Brigitte, Logan, Hunter and Harold, IV; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Monday, November 1, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, OH with Steve Smithbauer officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Cemetery, Hopedale, Ohio. The memorial guestbook may be signed at www.clark-kirkland.com.
