Mildred Lawson

Mildred Price Lawson, 93 of Scio, died Friday, August 19, 2005 at Schoenbrunn Health Care Center, New Philadelphia. She was born December 10, 1911 in Morgantown, WV, a daughter of the late Lester Morgan and Gracie Belle Emerson Neely. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Orlando, FL, and worked as a waitress in various restaurants in the area. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Bruce Price; her second husband, Gene Lawson; an infant brother; three sisters, Opal Lewis, Sylvia Cope, and Garnett Redman; and two grandchildren. Surviving are two sons, Dennis Price of Dennison and Richard Price of Davenport, FL; two daughters, Carolyn Bethel of Davenport, FL and Phyllis Hanlon of Tippecanoe and FL; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Private services were held at the convenience of the family at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz. Burial was in Patterson Cemetery, Deersville, Oho.
