Michael T. Puskarich, 51, Cadiz, died Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville, Ohio. He was born March 23, 1960 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a son of Mary Belle Holliday Puskarich of Cadiz and the late Michael Puskarich. Mr. Puskarich was a member of Nottingham Presbyterian Church; the Deputy Grand Deacon of the Ohio Grand Lodge; and the past President and CEO of Cravat Coal Company. He was currently the President of HLC Resources, Inc. He was a life member of Harrison Lodge #219, F. Scottish Rite, Valley of Steubenville, 33rd Degree; Scottish Rite Research Society; Civil War Lodge of Research #1865; Rosiccuritans; Eastern Ohio Council #297 AMD; Cadiz Chapter #171; Union Chapter #15; Union Council #2; Steubenville Commandery #11; Ohio Priory #18 KYCH; Order of the Knight, Emminant Commander; Ft. Steuben #194, York Rite College; Quarto Coronati, England; Chairman of the Ohio Masonic Home; Red Cross of Constantine; ROJ; Osiris Shriners; Freeport Eastern Star #319; Farm Bureau Ex.; Ohio Long Rifles; Society of Mining Engineers; Kentucky Colonels; Fraternal Order of Eagles; NRA; Moose; Ohio Gun Collectors; The Ohio State University Presidents Club; Historical Construction Equipment Association; Harrison and Belmont County Historical Societies, Ohio Valley Coal Operators and Suppliers Chairman; and the Ohio Board of Reclamation Review. He was a graduate of Lakeland High School and Otterbein College. He is survived by his wife Judy Nagy Puskarich, a daughter, Jenna Puskarich of Akron, OH ; a son, Michael S. Puskarich of the home; his mother Mary Belle Holliday Puskarich of Cadiz; a brother, Judge Matthew Puskarich and his wife Kris of Cadiz; a sister Lynn Sriprajittichai and her husband Manu of Pataskala, OH; nieces and nephews, Dr. Catherine McGill and her husband Matthew of Arlington, VA, Malayna Pelegreen of Pataskala, Lucas and Benjamin Puskarich of Cadiz, and Joseph Stock and his wife, Tiffany of Harrisville, OH; and an adopted niece of his heart, Chamila Prathiban and her husband Brijesh and their family of Middlesex, UK. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter. Calling hours will be held Thursday, March 22 from 1-6 and 7-9 at Scott United Methodist Church, 817 East Market Street, Cadiz where funeral service will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Richard Hasley officiating. Burial will follow at Nottingham Church Cemetery. Masonic Services will be held Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the church.
