Mary Slater

Mary Elizabeth Slater, 91, of Pembroke Pines, Florida, formerly of Cadiz, Ohio, died January 20, 2008 in Florida. She was born March 17, 1916 in Cadiz, a daughter of the late Samuel Parks and Margaret Shotwell McLaughlin. Surviving are a daughter, Johanna Catani of Pembroke Pines; a son, Robert Slater of Coral Gables, FL; a grandchild; two great grandchildren; and two sisters, Ruth Devdney and Jane Romansky. A service was held in Miami, FL. Private committal will be held at the convenience of the family at Cadiz Union Cemetery. Arrangements are by Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home.
