Mary Moore

Mary Ann Moore, 66, of Cadiz, died Monday, Feb. 12, 2007 at the Valley Hospice Palliative Care Unit at Trinity East in Steubenville. She was born December 26, 1940 in New Rumley, Ohio a daughter of the late Robert and Opal Huff Garrett. She was a former employee of the Scio Pottery Company and was a member of the First Church of Christ where she was a secret Santa. She served as a volunteer at Harrison Community Hospital in Cadiz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Patrick Garrett and a sister, Fran Carothers. Surviving are her husband, Jack Moore; three sons, Brent of St. Clairsville, Bryan of Pittston, PA and Michael and his wife Marci of Dacula, GA; four daughters, Twyla Krause of Mifflinville, PA, Tyria Moore and Joyce Kercher of Beach Haven, PA, Tracey and her husband, Bryan Downs of Elwood City, PA, and Regan Moore of Dover; six grandchildren: Darath and Tyler Krause, Erika Murray, Alexander and Hunter Downs, and Austin Moore; a sister, Tressa Fleming of Cleveland; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends may call Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz. Funeral Services will be held Friday, Feb. 16, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Church of Christ in Cadiz, with Paul Giffin officiating. Burial will follow at Cadiz Union Cemetery.
