Mary A. Holloway

Mary Holloway, 71, of Cadiz, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at WVU Harrison Community Hospital surrounded by her loved ones. She was born April 25, 1953, in Barnesville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Charles and Virginia Able Duffy.

She was a homemaker as well as a wonderful mother and grandmother to all her kids and grandkids. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Charles Stewart. 

She is survived by her sister, Betty Stillwagon of Cadiz; daughters, Virginia Holloway of Cadiz and Martha McCollins of Uhrichsville; 3 granddaughters, Alicia Johnson Holloway and Georgia Johnson both of Cadiz, 2 grandsons, James Brooks of Uhrichsville and Anthony Brooks of Canton, 1 great grandson, Keontae Brooks of Uhrichsville, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. 

A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 7th at the First Church of Christ, 139 North Main Street, Cadiz, Ohio 43907. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Paul Giffin officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family at Rock Hill Cemetery, Flushing, Ohio.
