Martha K. Ellis VanDyke, 96, of Cadiz, died Friday, April 23, 2004 at the Carriage Inn of Cadiz. She was born April 25, 1907 in Cadiz, a daughter of the late Sherrod and Lillian Dickerson Porter. She was a member of Scott United Methodist Church, and was the former owner of Colonial Jewelers and the Ellis Florist, all in Cadiz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three husbands, Dr. Herb Koepke, Forrest Ellis, and John VanDyke. Surviving are her son John D. Ellis and his wife, Sally, of Columbus; two grandchildren, John Ellis of Westlake Village, CA and Vikki Ellis of Columbus; a stepson, David VanDyke and his wife, Joan, of North Canton; two step grandchildren, Eric VanDyke and Nicole Sumser. Friends may call Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11:00 a.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, 172 S. Main St., Cadiz, Ohio. Rev. Robert Hooker will officiate.
